my friends, whether or not the embargo crisis is real, the panic buying is. That is what destroyed the .22 market. Buy now, buy alot. This will get ugly..... Those wonderful green tins are disappearing fast.

How will a shortage of 7.62x54R affect their availability? Unless it's chambered in that caliber, in which case holy cow I want one too

If an actual sanction happens on Russian arms companies, that could interfere. Or if panic-buying extends to firearms.

Didn't the $80 cans of 7.62x25 Milsurp crates dry up almost overnight? Now those cans go for $500 a pop.
It was more like a 2-3 month period. I don't think anyone really knows why that happened, though.

This whole situation might be a blessing in disguise if Wolf can locate another cheap producer of ammo to fill their needs. It's a shame that we can't get the Chinese ammo import ban lifted; we'd be swimming in commie calibers.

Why would I panic buy ammo I don't have any firearms chambered for?

So much for stockpiling mosins because the ammo is dirt cheap and will always be available. :lol2:

Yes.. not too many brass case to be found.

Good thing I still have a tin or two.. but then again. Don't shoot much of 54rs.

PPU and S&B both have reloadable brass 7.62x54R. Not cheap like Soviet surplus but not crazy expensive, either. I have a few boxen for my Czech sniper rifle.

My point.. spend money and buy brass ammo to get your reloadable brass. ;)
