When MD went straight wall cartridge in previously shotgun only counties, I bought a .450 Bushmaster upper for my AR. Mainly because people like Biden say you don't need a AR to hunt deer. I'm proving him wrong.
Over the past two years I've killed three deer with three shots. .450 BM has plenty of power. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on bigger game than deer.
That being said I've killed crap load of prairie dogs with the 5.56 upper in two trips to South Dakota.
