The 9 and 45 use the same spacer. I made mine out of copper, this guy made it out of steeel.
I think this is the one that I copied.
You use the same piston and cap. The only difference is that the spacer surrounds the piston and not the spring. The spacer will contact the front of the piston and the rear cap thus making a solid connection.Ok
So I use my 1/2x28 piston, no spring, and the piston end cap?
Or do I use the fixed end cap and the spacer? And if so how does the spacer stay in place?
I am easily confused I guess
And I am sorry for asking so many questions

1/2x28 is used most .22 and some 9mm barrels.Ok, got it!
Thanks!
And I am a sucker for doing stuff the easy way so I ordered the spacer from silencer shop already
Now here’s a question, I have an end cap that’s 1/2 x 28. What is that used for?
It doesn’t matter, I would rather have to much stuff than not enough lol
Thanks again!!!
So if you have a fixed mount (like the on on the left in the pic above), you use that instead of the piston. You only need the spacer if you want to run the piston on a fixed barrel weapon.I saw your picture in the post before
I have the fixed mount so I am gonna figure out getting the spacer asap
I also should look in my safes in case I have one but there’s just so much stuff I have bought over the years. I would have thought I would have asked and bought one when I bought the can and end caps but I don’t remember if I did or even if I would have asked or known to.
I really appreciate your help and information!!!
Gotcha!! Great! So if you have a fixed mount (like the on on the left in the pic above), you use that instead of the piston. You only need the spacer if you want to run the piston on a fixed barrel weapon.
I hope this is correct but I will check in the am1/2x28 is used most .22 and some 9mm barrels.
I don't see why it wouldn't be. Some 9mm barrels are threaded 1/2x28 and the .350 legend is a 9 x 43 cartridge.I hope this is correct but I will check in the am
