How does the background check work when you're a gate crasher?
So you are saying the framers of the Constitution and the founding fathers wrote all of the Constitution and the bill of rights for people who are also not citizens and under the jurisdiction of other countries? So, if your grandmother is visiting from Montreal or London, she is subject to cruel and unusual punishment, warrantless searches, being prevented from freely associating with you or speaking in public? Can't have it both ways.
No, I’m saying they wrote the Bill of Rights to define specific things the government could NOT do.So you are saying the framers of the Constitution and the founding fathers wrote all of the Constitution and the bill of rights for people who are also not citizens and under the jurisdiction of other countries?
That is how I see it too. The government is prevented from infringing on that right for citizens (the People) under its jurisdiction.Don’t people say the right to bear arms for defense comes from the Creator?
The buyer fills out a 4473 at the local FFL, same way you do.How does the background check work when you're a gate crasher?
They do that now. If someone is found in this country with nefarious connections in their home country they will be rounded up and prevented from associating. Is this violating their rights under the U.S. Constitution? No, I’m saying they wrote the Bill of Rights to define specific things the government could NOT do.
So, back to grandma from Vienna. Do you think the founders meant that you couldn’t be stopped from hanging out with whom you choose, but a visiting family member from Austria could be muzzled and kept from associating with you?
Yeah, but no one from that constabulary in Honduras reports to NICS. And they're undocumented, so unless the .gov has biometrics, we can't positively ID them in the first place. The buyer fills out a 4473 at the local FFL, same way you do.
Illinois and other states will issue a FOID or HQL equivalent.
...to its citizensNo, I’m saying they wrote the Bill of Rights to define specific things the government could NOT do.
It is tricky. Because the BoR refers to "the people," while the constitution elsewhere explicitly refers to citizens on other matters....to its citizens
Yes please.Lets just toss the ATF Form 4473 then...
The opinion is basically putting this guy in the same category as non-violent felons/misdemeanors.
