I had my best year ever, which isn't saying much. Only two trips to the blind but we limited out once on Canada goose and got two the other time out. Of course, a group of 15-25 mallards dropped right in the kill zone last weekend, when they were out of season. Even had I not limited out that Saturday, we saw so many birds that it was worth it just as a bird watching venture. Simply beautiful.
