How is it recommended that this thing be carried?

    Hammer back and safety on?

Can I chamber a round and let the hammer down and thumb it back when I am ready to shoot?

    What is standard or recommended?

I'm looking for a load of opinions. I've been around here long enough to expect no less. :D

Thanks for the (lopsided) input. :lol2:

I have it in a generic holster right now with questionable retention. Going into town in a few minutes and getting another holster.

When I have the proper holster, I believe it will be cocked and locked as suggested.

Anything other than condition 1, you might as well immediately assume you have a weapon malfunction and practice malfunction drills as your out of the holster draw.

Sent from my phone from somewhere in the world.

DEFCON 1 is the only way, even if you have a Series 80

Only other option is Israeli Carry but that takes practice, practice and more practice until it is 2nd nature.
