Going from "x" to "y" without notice is what's sad. Couldn't "y" have been implemented with a 30 day notice or the like?
So if I realize I mispunctuated something back in 2009, I can't correct it? I just have to lie awake and obsess over it?
Not 100% sure, but it seems if 24 hours had past, you would not have been able to edit/delete the post.Yeah I was just able to edit and delete a post in the pretzel thread. I'm glad to see that. I'm not looking for a viking funeral just the ability to fix mistakes or any kind.
Grammar Nazis posts will now be the only way to fix typos? Butter some popcorn for me ;-)
Were you able to delete it more than 24 hours after its posting?I just posted a WC pic that was jacked up and able to delete it

You over articled your correction attempt...No, no the original construction is fine. "Me" is the Objective Case, which in English incorporates both the Accusative and the Dative.
I grant that your construction would be more common the the Colloquial, though.

I did not want to see you on years of Prozac and therapy...Thank you. I went back and corrected the typo.
I shudder to think that 25 hours may have passed with my noticing that.
