    Interesting.

Has me thinking about what to do with my AWB "ban compliant" Bushy.

Everything I've read about the VLTOR A5 extension has me thinking that it's one of the better solutions for a rifle-length system. I figure this should incur the least amount of headache with such a setup.

That said, part of me wants to do a pinned 14.5" M4-style setup and go for a lighter weight build.

    So many choices... :D

I got one of those uppers last week at Gun Connection. It was very nice to see the new Aimpoint and upper liked each other. The gun was shooting POA/POI at 25m with Prvi M193.

Colt probably would have cried 15 years ago if they were able to look in their magic ball and see the 200+ manufacturers/assemblers moving in on their AR sales...

I have one of those VLTOR stocks, they really have a great over feel to them. Much better than the Command Arms stock and had on it previously.

...and the build begins. I'm sourcing a Spikes Tactical LPK from Engage. I will probably pick up some PMags at Nations next week.

You have both the EXACT same ideas i have! I have been wanting to do a 14.5 middy but always had my eye on the 20" bcm upper. I have been trying to find out about the a5 kit for months now but seems like noones using them yet

Fixed FSP is going to be problematic with a serious magnified optc. I'd get a BCM upper with RIS...

Spikes LPK acquired and installed. Thanks Andy, for getting that for me.

Thanks to Garrett for holding me like Patrick Swayze in Ghost during the installation of the LPK.

OK, it must be something with MD and gunsmiths or gunsmith and this forum. I think Garrett learned too much from Chad.
