Your NRA course that you took with Joe will do. Just bring the certificate with you when purchasing so that you can put the certificate number on the 77R part 2.

Buy local. Buy often. Lots of overhead in the gun business man. Dropping $100 is a part-time employees paycheck, a week worth of lights and air conditioning in the store, part of renewing a license, etc. You can buy where you want, but this is a state where our right is constantly under...

Standard 226's are retailing for over 1000 quid now, but can be had right around 900. When you start getting into the Elites, you're talking 1000 and up. Call/shop around and get some price quotes. Ask if they could knock a couple percent off for a multiple buy. But don't expect too much...

How do you really feel about Continental Arms in Timonium?

Double the amount of long guns, more handguns, more rentals, way more accessories, way more reloading supplies, high quality gear and clothing, and all of our safes (to name a few things). Sorry I won't be around to see it, but I'll be back to visit.

Hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Going to be in the same building, but up in the front. It looks fantastic and is sure to live up to expectations. Sad that I won't be around to see it, but I'll swing by sometime.

Buy local. Buy often. Shop around and find the best place for you and your hard-earned money. Don't pay any mind to any gun store commandos who talk like they have been a cowboy for 20 years but have never ridden a horse. When you buy over the internet, you have to pay shipping and...

      Just Guns in Parkville

They match my thong! In seriousness though, I know that some folks at all retail establishments (guns or otherwise) are just peter-heads and there's nothing you can do to stop that. I tend to ignore it.

      Just Guns in Parkville

As many of you know, I am an employee of a local shop. But, I am a shooter first. I have no personal vested interest in the shop I work for. So, now that that is out of the way... I went into Just Guns once and was treated very respectfully. I went in just to look around. They said hello...

Gunsmith John Carduner (Please - Actual Customer Feedback Only)

John's a great guy and does great work. He's partnered up in Timonium as well. Did amazing work on Jay's GI Champ... now it shoots like a $2,000 custom gun.

      Painting a stock

Definitely a +1 to that. If you want it to look good, you need to have somebody that knows what they are doing with Duracoat. Very much worth it! My P6 came out looking great because I gave it to somebody who knew what they were doing with Duracoat. My M4gery looks pretty kewl, but...

My God.. what have I done?

Transporting gets wonky through PG, MoCo, and the Cit-ay. Individually locked handguns, and such, but I'm not sure of the specifics. Your best bet is to be a responsible gun-owner and check up on the local ordinances. That is up to you and nobody else. Also remember that cops do not know the...

My SASSy-Girl: RRA LAR-8 Range Report

If you get a chance, try some Fiocchi Rifle Match 168 and 175. I use both through the 5R and is shoots circles around the Federal (and it's cheaper... and it uses the same Sierra MK HPBT projectile). If you find yourself up in Timonium, stop by Continental. Call first and ask for Andy...

      Reminton 700 Competitors

I own a Savage 110 FP Tactical LE .308 and a Remington 5R 700 MilSpec. Both shoot GREAT out of the box. Savage was less money, but harder to find stuff for (at the time - stocks, parts, mounts, etc.). Now-a-days, McMillan, HS Precision, etc., make all kinds of Savage 10, 110, 12, etc...

FreeState Bowling Pin Shoot May 11..

I'd say go with power-factors... or classes. That's how IPSC got around the whole "gear-race" thing. I shoot 9mm pretty much exclusively. Against steel plates that are calibrated to fall from 115 grain, that's not a problem. But put me against a guy shooting a .45 against bowling pins, then...

Sanner's Lake Trial Highpower Rifle Match - May 14th

Unfortunately, I will be unable to go. Saturday is one of my few days to get my schtuff in order before I ship out. Sorry. Have a good time!

Welcome from Parkville. They are doing some cool stuff with green .22 ammo. I think Winchester is leading the way with tin-based stuff. Enjoy the sport!
