I just got a Savage Axis in 6.5 Creedmoor and will be reloading soon. This is some good info, but I'm going to have to re-read it a couple times to absorb as much as possible before I start.
Grew up right near there, still in the area. Bush Road used to go through there, but the county closed it thanks to the trailer park trash dumping along the road. There used to be a few trails, although nothing was marked or maintained. It was also a popular spot for (illegal) trail riding...
Don't underestimate crows, they're pretty smart. For maximum enjoyment, use a .410 shotgun...much tougher than a larger bore.
I think the statute of limitation has run out, so I'll say we treated them like varmints when I was young...no season, no bag limits, no restraint, just piles of dead...

Still working my way through this thread, but Field Day is next weekend? I'll be camping at the PA Grand Canyon, but I might have enough room to take some extra gear.
Anybody want to work a 1-Bravo station?
Yeah, me too. I sold my KLX250 shortly after they closed Green Ridge. If they open the new trails at Savage and Sideling as proposed, I'm getting another dual sport.
As I understand it, Garrett and Allegany county residents were guaranteed to be at least 25% of the tags this year. So they are trying to change that, but I can understand your feelings. They gave us unlimited antlerless deer during the bow season to help cull the herd, but I'm still...
