Meet me on time and at location we picked. Great 870 Tac. My father-in-law is going to love it.

      Moving state to state transport

I just did a fair bit of reasearch on this. My understanding is that it is perfectly legal to transport them for the purposes of changing residence but you must observe each state's regulations regarding transport as you pass through them and any local laws in your new place of permanent...

      "One a Month" Rule Question

Yes, but unlike here you can do it as much as you want. Plus the fees for doing so are fixed and reasonably low. It's obviously not ideal but it's also not as desperate as I thought it would be.

      "One a Month" Rule Question

That's probably a good idea. I just noticed that in anti-gun California a private party to private party sale of a handgun is exempt from the "one a month" rule. They give with one hand and take away with the other

      "One a Month" Rule Question

Done! (although I nearly bought a Colt 6920...DOH!)

      "One a Month" Rule Question

Absolutely. I have been reading everything I can about the laws there and have taken advice from people on Calguns. In some areas it is just ludicrous (all mags not to exceed 10 rounds) but others are less of a hassle, e.g. unloaded open carry / transport or fit a Bullet Button and 10 round mag...

      "One a Month" Rule Question

Understood. There is less pressure for me to get the unregulated ones as I have about 8-10 weeks to get what I want with no waiting periods (still looking for a nice 94 Winchester if anyone has one ;):D ). I should be able to get what I want in terms of regulated guns with the "2 at once" thing.

      "One a Month" Rule Question

I absolutely would do that but I'll be living in a different state by the time I'd get approved. I should have done it a couple of years ago when I moved here.

      "One a Month" Rule Question

I'm moving to CA in May (hence the question). I want to make sure I have everything I currently want to buy before moving there.

      "One a Month" Rule Question

I understand the "one a month" rule on regulated firearms but I seem to remember reading or being told about a "two every sixty days" situation. Am I confused or is this possible in MD? If it is possible is it a general rule or does it apply to specific situations (i.e. collectors purchasing...

Wow. Great job. I can't even build a set if Ikea shelves without injuring myself.

      Tactical Shotgun Rules MD

Depends on the range. As long as it's a legally held gun you can shoot buckshot at Continental and the AGC. On Target do not allow it. Not sure about other ranges. D

Shipping Gun Back to Dealer for Repair?

Very kind of you - we'll definitely hook up when I get it back. I've now got a bit of time to decide whether I want to fire it or not.

Shipping Gun Back to Dealer for Repair?

Yes, the very same. It's in unfired condition because it can't be fired! Not that I can find any 45lc anyway! I think it was a genuine oversight - the dealer is going to have it repaired and is reimbursing me for shipping , etc. D

Shipping Gun Back to Dealer for Repair?

That's what I told them but they disagreed - perhaps trying to save on the overnight shipping or something. D.

Shipping Gun Back to Dealer for Repair?

Just bought a revolver, had it sent here, did the paperwork, picked it up last week. Turns out there is an issue with it and it needs to go back to the the dealer for repair. The dealer says USPS is OK but I was under the impression that handguns are a no-no for USPS. Am I mistaken? Any advice...

Now where to Shoot BP Pistols around Annapolis area?

+1. Good to know. Plus they allow tactical shotguns (certain size buckshot only). Might start going there instead of On Target.
