Sorry for the double-post, but I just wanted to add that mil/LEO sales constitute a small minority of Beretta's US sales. Single digits, IIRC. This was relayed to me via a Beretta employee.
Why bother with dollars and sense, when you have a never-ending faucet of federal funny money pouring into the state from the country at large? All the contractors, government employees, etc. etc. etc.
This is very reminiscent of something I sketched out last year when SB281 was still in gestation...my idea had more of an SGA type stock, though.

Because 3D printing pushed the manufacture of mags, receivers, etc - which are not enormous challenges to people with machining backgrounds - into the yuppie domain; now they are vaguely cognizant of the possibility of private manufacture of these items.

If you install something other than the A2 you should easily make the 29" mark. AAC, BE Meyers, etc. I do not believe it has to be pinned.

I see my little disclaimer wasn't that clear; by training and familiarity, I implied understanding how your particular firearm behaves. I have an 8-10k rd G19 that will seat a round very easily (on a fresh recoil spring.) I also have newer pistols that obviously will not. A press/feel check to...
Condition 3....you can rack the slide quietly if that is your flavor. Training and familiarity are important in this and any other case, imo.

One item I haven't seen raised...
1) Buy HBAR
2) Send upper to ADCO and have them golfball or spiral flute barrel, leaving HBAR markings intact.
3) Profit.
Don't think that'd be illegal under the wording of the law if you're retaining the original upper and barrel, but IANAL.
