    I'm hoping someoje here can help me out with this, looking on the IWI website they list the 18" barrel tavor as 27 5/8", does that length include the muzzle device? It seems that if that is the length without the muzzle device you could easily pin it and get the length over the 29" mark.

    If you install something other than the A2 you should easily make the 29" mark. AAC, BE Meyers, etc. I do not believe it has to be pinned.

    You don't need to pin anything for the OAL test... you only need to pin the muzzle device when you're using it for barrel length.

    Atlantic firearms is already planning on selling post 10/1 legal tavors by doing just this.

    Nice. A Tavor is not happening for me before October. I will probably get either a Tavor or the Beretta ARX when it comes out. I think the Beretta can similarly be made legal. But it will be a while before that purchase gets made.
