      Outdoor range ideas

Yes sir I've got a tractor with a loader. How tall are your berms? I've got the layout so that I'm as far away from neighbors homes as I can be. They're all shooters, too, and know what I'm building and where it will be. They may be more excited than I am. I've got a safe direction laid out...

      Outdoor range ideas

No regulations where I am. Neighbors are all 1/4mi away at least but still looking to build a berm to stop errant rounds and ricochets. Want to build something like Hicock45 (who doesn't) but I don't have a hillside to utilize.

      Outdoor range ideas

We're building a small range at home soon and need some inspiration. Land is mostly flat so a berm is a must. Does anyone here have a small, backyard range or have ideas as to how to build the berm so it doesn't look like a pile of dirt?

W&C holders.. Do you ever open carry?

I have a MD permit. I've OC'd on a handful of occasions but felt uncomfortable at times so I stay away from it unless I'm in a known friendly zone.

      Black blueing a barrel?

I have a Citori barrel with a spot where the blueing needs to be touched up. I had a couple bottles of Birchwood Casey cold blue laying around but neither are dark enough to match the black finish of the barrel. Does anyone here know of a product that will provide a black finish without having...

      Local USPSA or IDPA options?

Thanks. I will look into the Eastern Shore group. Sanner's Lake is a bit too far.

      Local USPSA or IDPA options?

I'm looking to get back into competitive pistol shooting this year. In the past I have shot IDPA at AAFG but took a few years off because of life getting in the way. Browsing the forums here I see a scattering of IDPA, USPSA and steel matches. Is there a compilation of upcoming events or a...

HOW to APPLY for a MARYLAND Carry Permit

Has anyone gone through the renewal process lately? Curious what documents they want. The wording on the app is unclear and no response from MSP to my inquiry yet.

      DUNDALK Gun Show Dec-10-11

I understand and agree 100% but we also know there are three sides to every story and only one side has been publicized on this forum. I'm not active enough here to know all the details and I didn't mean to dredge this back up. I was just trying to make the point that I personally think it's...

      DUNDALK Gun Show Dec-10-11

What is there to be sad about? If Fox's took the time to show you options and ultimately find the gun for you at a competitive price with good customer service (which you were admittedly happy with) what more can you ask for? Sure, his suit was a bad idea but I don't feel it's right for members...

MD Handgun Permits & Carrying in VA

Yes. I had an encounter with a VA Sheriff last month while I was armed. Handed him my MD permit, had no issues and he thanked me for disclosing. Carry on.

      CCW no printing or printing?

considering the amount of options for holster types and brands available today there is no excuse to print, regardless of body shape or size.

      The Official AR-15 Picture Thread

I'm trying to decide one way or the other. Part of me wants to employ the KISS principle with irons. Just unsure if there's any advantage to a red dot.
