I've always had good luck in the lakes in columbia for panfish but I don't keep them. Sometimes in the summer I can catch 30-40 in one night with a fly tied on to a ultralight spinning rod.
I've seen flocks there from my stand in previous years. Il just start scouting and exploring new areas in liberty after bow season is over. I've only ever hunted off Poole rd.
I too am planning on going after turkey's this spring I have no idea where though. I live in columbia and hunt in liberty reservoir. I have seen flocks of them there before but I imagine it will be hard to get them there since there are no open areas there.

I've never had this happen there but the fact the idiot was doing it while the cease fire was on is ridiculous. He should not have been worried about a cased gun but instead watching the shooters making sure THEY were not touching their guns. I don't know if I'm going there again I might have to...
I'm torn between the 2 for my .300wsm. I've been reading reviews and it seems people have had issues with the vx1. My biggest concern is the recoil screwing up the zero like it did to my bushnell. I'm pretty much limiting myself to 400$ for the scope but not sure what road to go down. I'm hoping...
