How Will New Laws Effect Maryland C&R Holders?

Yes it is. It seems though C&Rs have escaped the worst parts. I just hope retailers are still willing to sell to us and won't black list us like they do California. Between this, the gas tax hike and this new nonsensical rain tax, I may be moving to PA once my step-son graduates high...

How Will New Laws Effect Maryland C&R Holders?

From what I understand, yes. If you have your c&r, it will be business as usual (with the exception of the ten round limit on mags).

      C&R's beware

As I previously stated, I have to agree. Regardless of the item, its origin, the surround circumstances and the agency handling the issue, every American citizen is entitled to due process of the law. In my opinion, this situation is wrong on so many levels. If this is a sign of things to...

      C&R's beware

There is always the risk of things escalating, but if the individual is curious and respectful, the Officers have no reason to escalate anything. If the Officers are unprofessional and start escalating things, NEVER fight the Police. You won't win and it will make things worse.

      C&R's beware

Although that may give them authority to seize the specific item, it does not supersede their right to request a search warrant. Rotmistrz, are you a C&R holder?

      C&R's beware

Telling a Police Officer / Federal Agent to get a warrant in order to search your property can not be construed as obstructing justice. The Fourth Amendment guarantees that right. If he were to hide the rifle or deny having it, that could be grounds for obstruction charges. I don't care who...

This 10-round mag cap is going to be a real pain in the butt.

How Will New Laws Effect Maryland C&R Holders?

I don't think so. From what I understand, registration will only be for "assault rifles". But my information was from when all of the nonsense started several months ago. I know a lot has changed since then, and I don't know what actually has passed, but I know the laws regarding basic long...
