      Steal the gun, throw it in the bay, call friends to help move and move on with her life. Involving the authorities will exacerbate the situation and while its the "legal" route to take, might even endanger her more. Restraining orders don't work.

      I don't care what the situation is, to step in and arrest someone without charging them and confiscate their firearms is blatently UNCONSTITUTIONAL! It is NEVER alright to do this. He's probably got lawyers beating down his door, and when the smoke clears I hope he's a very rich man.

      Benelli Nova Question

      Barrel simply slides off on mine, just like my other shotguns. There are 2 allen screws on the side that allows you to take the slide off, but you shouldn't need to do that for cleaning. If you haven't used it in a while, or cleaned it it may just need a tug and/or some miltec at the receiver.
