Here are the charges, as of this post.None of the news stories say anything about a charge of carrying without a permit

Nothing that I could find in Case Search.Any older charges/convictions which would render him prohibited? I’m too lazy to look.
Thank you, sir. I figured you had checked.Nothing that I could find in Case Search.
This is true. I'll hope @Blaster229 will weigh in, though a federal air marshal I know reports that sworn police officers are seven times more likely to illegally misuse a firearm than a wear and carry permit holder. SEVEN TIMES! We are the safest armed individuals there are.Well this will certainly complicate his renewal application.
Ok, unlike Leftists, we are not Utopians. It's a messy, imperfect world and there are no ideal solutions, only trade-offs. There certainly will be some incidents of permit holders misusing their guns. There will be some bad incidents of the exact sort the Frosh types predict.
However those incidents will be astonishingly few in numbers, and that has been borne out over and over, in State after State, over decades of Shall Issue and Constitutional Carry. Statistics show that permit holders are even less likely than sworn LEOs to do stupid crap like this.
There we go. Good to know. It had all the makings of a fake story. Now we wait for the details. Now showing up in more official channels and media online.

I thought you had knowledge regarding statistics of the likelihood of sworn officers to commit violent gun crimes versus W&C permit holders. Perhaps I was mistaken. What am I supposed to chime in on?
Not me. Don't care about stats.I thought you had knowledge regarding statistics of the likelihood of sworn officers to commit violent gun crimes versus W&C permit holders. Perhaps I was mistaken.
Or W-O-R-C-E-S-T-E-R be pronounced “Wuster”?The real issue is, how can something spelled TANEY be pronounced TAWNEY?
They drink a lot of port thereThe real issue is, how can something spelled TANEY be pronounced TAWNEY?
He drew it from a fanny pack. He should be charged for wearing a fanny pack in public, in daylight, in 2023.The lack of carrying a firearm with out a permit could be as simple as they cant prove he was carrying it loaded and on his person. The video shows him walking up with it in his hand.
