Big thank you to boondock for the effort put into this thread and to this community as a whole. I just joined MSI and would urge anyone who has not to consider it. $25 is a small price to pay to help fight for our constitutional rights.

I could be on to something here, I just looked at the spreadsheet and it would appear that the acceptance dates completely skipped the weekend prior. The question is what weekend did they start working?

Is there anyone on MDS that is an accepted 7/29, 7/30, or 7/31

I was approved Wednesday

Same here, approved 9/7 and received permit today, 9/10.

Everyone take a moment tomorrow to remember the 343 firefighters, 60 police officers, and 2593 civilians who were killed on 9/11/01.

Hopefully it's your permit, but I think it might just be the NICS letter we all get. Have you checked the portal - have you been approved?

Its not nics. Approval was Wednesday.

That's odd. I picked up a gun today that I purchased last Friday. No delay at all.

In fact my not disapproved Email came in bright and early at 6 a.m. I actually got a call from a trooper early yesterday morning to clear up some confusion about my middle name. He told me he be finished with it that morning. Though they obviously weren't going to send the email until today.

It's strange how it works out. My 7th day was on Sept. 5th (mon) Never got an email so I took a ride out to gun shop anyway. That's when I was told no one was working Sun and Monday. My non disapproved came that Weds. the 7th. So what she said matched up with the dates. True/Not true who knows. Still had to wait 9 days....

Interesting - I picked up one today as well. 77R submitted last Friday, Not Disapproved this morning (i.e. the normal wait time). No extra day wait for the holiday for me.
