I see some people getting their CJIS letters mailed to your home. I was finger printed in early July and still don’t have one yet. How long should it take?

I'm a 7/25 accepted so I am thrilled to see those '25ers approved today.

Still bitter seeing applicants who applied the same day as I get accepted the next day or few days after getting approved while having to wait 11 days for acceptance . I should be already approved along with my fellow 7/28ers who had to wait 2 weeks after submitting. I need to make and wear a shirt that says Bitter28

Let me know where you are having that shirt made so I can get that order of "Impatient 8/5er" made too.....

I got fingerprints done five weeks ago.
What should I expect and in what order.

What should I expect and in what order.

At some time you will get a NICS number attached to your application. Don't get too excited by it, it means absolutely nothing.
If I was you I wouldn't really start looking for about 2 months. Then I would check 100 tines a day even though you will still be 30 days from approval.

Anyone see any 7/24 accepteds around here? I have a weak/bullsh!t theory that the LD was given that Sunday off in preparation for the onslaught that had already begun to arrive. It's the first time (I think) I've seen a skipped accepted date, and I'm not even convinced it has been skipped per se.

I was heartened by the flattening of the spike from yesterday's numbers to those of today. It's the Tuesday rush, so I'm sure tomorrow will be slower and we'll see a resulting rise in the numbers.

That said, I'd be happy to be wrong and get approved on Friday. Or sooner. No rush, just a bitter 28er here.

It's a random thing. Got mine about 8 days after NICS. Some folks, 2 weeks or never.

So today we've had accepted applications from 7/22, 7/23, 7/25 and 7/12 get approved. That seems like an interesting stretch of dates. A bit more variation than typical.

The 7/12 I saw was a repost to add permit #, not approved today.
