Have a question for all of you.

I have a Colt Expanse Davidson’s exclusive that came Cerakoted in FDE. When I compare it to my Colt 6920 HBPW
    Differences:
Flash hider on the expanse is a Vortex the HBPW is an A2.
    Mag release
    The pistol grip
    hand guards
Expanse has an LE serial number
HBPW has a CE serial number

    Similarities:
Everything else is 100% the same including the staking of the BCG and buffer tubes

I have spare original Colt hand guards and a pistol grip.

So should I shoot it, keep it in the safe, or sell it?

With the way things are going, unless you can turn a really nice profit, I would hold onto it and at least function check with a few mags.
What is this safe queen thing you speak of?

Doesn’t the expanse come with a 14.5” barrel with the pin welded flash hider and the 6920 with a 16” barrel?

I personally don’t think modern rifle should be relegated to safe queen status. If there is a difference in barrel length I would keep both and put some rounds through them.

Both have pinned and welded 14.5 in Colt Socom barrels.

A gun is just a scalpel. It ain't worth a damn if it never leaves the tray. Choot-it!

What I mean by safe queen is keep it as an investment.

    I forgot the sarcasm tag.....:lol2:
Wait, before I give you some flak, you aren't cutting me again anytime soon, are you?

ARs of most any persuasion are not rare. Market values are more based on current events and politics than configuration. It's not a Colt SP1 in electroless nickel...do as you like but I shoot mine.

    I shoot my SP1. I haven't in a while, but I do shoot it.
