Hope you guys got in on some of those $60 stripped lowers! Looked like there was only one left when I went by.

Managed to get everything I went there for, most of it from Precision Firearms. Thanks Mark!

Nice to meet you Rack and Roll!

Great to meet you, too. Also a pleasure to run into overboost44 & Ob44jr,, Mr H & Mrs H, BigSteve57, oldcarjunkie, sling blade, dblas, shafTed, parttimer, GTOGunner, lee2, and Lou45 and putneyswope & PSjr.

Lou45 had 10 new Colt 6721's for $860 cash price. They were gone by early afternoon. In this political climate...an excellent deal.

Looked at the Ruger 10/22 TD-Lite. Optics only - I'll have to ponder that for a SHTF small bore.
Bought some SKS stripper clips, some Makarov ammo, and donated $10 to the HQL lawsuit.
Saw a Del-Ton rifle kit for the same price 2A ha it - I'll go with 2A at a later date.

I saw the ghost gunner, but didn't ask any questions. Frankly, the if that's what the guy
is doin', he might be wakin' up in bubba's arms... Besides, the whole point of the 80%
is no records at all, anywhere. Where's the mill kept? Do you have to go to his house
or is it shipped all over the place - that's gotta do wonders for its calibration.

The ghost runner guy charges $150 and requires you to sign a contract. You are buying a share of the machine is how he said it. Seems questionable if I have to sign a contract.

Always good to see you my friend along with several of the others that you mentioned. Lou was a busy guy. Good to see Nate and Carlos. Mr&Mrs H and good to speak with Sling Blade.

If any of you get there tomorrow there is an auction at an adjacent building and there are MANY guns for sale along with cars. The guy was quite the collector.

I got my ear plugs , Tom Kat 300blk subsonic and 8mm Nambu ammo
I did not get but saw
1916 Spanish mausers $169 still in dusty Cosmo
    Varget
Good prices on primers $25 pistol
    Trail Boss

Oh wait, I could not take the smell any longer and purchased the cinnamon almonds from the nice lady in the front corner

She should be outlawed from the shows. How can you not buy from her? It's like a magnet for most folks.

I saw that and went in to preview the items. There were some interesting items there but, look them over good. A couple of the handguns were in really good condition. Most of the long guns were not so great and had rust or were modified to the extent that their value should be significantly diminished.
The first thing that caught my eye though was a plastic 1911 toy, an old Johnny Eagle lieutenant. I remember those from way back when I was a kid.
There was a box behind the long guns that had 2 parts guns and on closer inspection, they were nickel plated old Remington Army civil war type. One was percussion and the other was an early rimfire cartridge version. Both were incomplete and had missing many parts, but were cool reminders of firearms history.
Still have to do some research on a couple other items. It will definitely be worth attending.

Beware of the Leupold scope at the auction, from my research, it appears to be one of the Chinese copies.
Oh, and South Mountain had M4 stripped upper receivers for $55 ( if I remember correctly) in addition to the $60 lowers.

Speaking of prices, how about one vendor with HK flare guns for $190 EACH.

    About 18 months ago--$60 each.

    3 years ago--$39

If people keep buying them, he's going to keep raising his prices. That's when you know exactly how much they are really worth.

Yep. I bought 3 HK flare guns for $60 each at the HoCo show and sold one on GunBroker for $200. I still have the other two. Ironically they are indentical in every way but for the HK markings to the newer style Polish flare guns that sell for $80. HK fan bois pay stupid prices for HK chit.

Well, now that you outed yourself, I posted that $190 price on the HK because I remembered your post about your find of 3 HKs about a year and a half ago.

Does Engage have any of their E4 basic rifles there? I'm going tomorrow morning might pick one up if they have any.

Anybody see any pistol grip only Mossberg 500s there?

I saw one pistol grip 870 there, I think it was about half way back on the right side. I didn't notice the price.
Over all a good show, I think I am going back tomorrow with a couple of friends. :innocent0
