Well she is a proven breeder, unfortunately the two boys are almost certainly going to grow up to be left wing pajama boys.

From a marketing perspective, it makes sense to have the regional MDA headed by actual mothers instead of a lobbyist who can't win even when the game is rigged.

And boy, what pathetic chest pumping. They take out a citizen concerned with the civil rights of Marylanders, and call it a victory. I bet some of the legislators who voted for ouster even felt uncomfortable getting this scalp.

Raskin also needs someone to blame for coming off as an unprepared dimwit in arguing for nonsensical infringements and being a total legislative loser this past session. No doubt that Vinnie gave the Dems a lot of bad advice this last session (and perhaps they even blame him for being mocked daily by R&R and colleagues) such that his political capital was spent.

Would love to know who fed the story to the Baltimore Sun targeting Jurgena.

Ever notice that men do not seem to want to do this "gun control" work anymore?

It seems like there have been a slew of "gun control" men resigning from these organizations, only to be replaced nearly every time by a woman.

I mean, take a look at this snapshot from this past February of a roomful of men gathering to announce gun control laws on the way--before the votes were counted.

Do they look proud, energized, righteous and full of fighting spirit? Nope. With all of them looking distracted, bored or glum, it seems they have been hectored into action by....the women's movement.

Ever seen so many Happy Warriors?

It won't play as well in the media, chasing young mothers around the Statehouse. I'd say it's a good move on the opposition's part, counting on a chivalrous attitude from our side.

As to Vinnie, Bloomberg probably saw that he was limping around with his gonads dangling from someone's rearview mirror - was it yours? - and decided he needed to find a more effective shill. So Vinnie is presumably exploring other alternatives, with a door bruise on his posterior.

    Well, bye.

So DeMarco had to fall on the Bloomberg sword, huh?

Targeting Jurgena isn't even a victory for them, but that's how they have to spin it.

I have to think our video put Spinny Vinny in a lot of trouble with his paymasters.

Here we are, with help from Patriots like DC-W above, hitting the bricks with 2A signs nearly every day, while the Bloombergians are screaming at Vinny: "where are our people with signs!!??"..." You're saying LOVE YOU GUYS!!??"

His no-show Stroller Squadron cost him his job.

    Wave Bye Bye now!

Meh - we chased off Leah Barrett and we'll break these two down as well.

Vinnie is a paid professional - these two are wide-eyed idealists and they will soon go back to their fruit roll ups and poopy drawers once they figure out that they've run up against us and we're not budging.

These clowns think that the that keeping jurgena off the HPRB is going to reduce murders in Baltimore?

They even acknowledge the failure of regulations to reduce violence in their own self congratulations. Ironic / ackward. .

They know that nothing that they can do will change the gun violence in Baltimore...

BUT by controlling who is on the review board it should be obvious that their ONLY REAL concern is to make sure that you can't get a carry permit...

Who is he replacing as Chairman?

Becoming Chairman of the Board in most organizations isn't exactly a demotion. It's the top policy making position and sets the course for the organization. It's just not "day to day" operations. The board hires the executives who handle day-to-day operations and determines their salaries and benefits. It's not exactly "out the door." It could be a sign that the organization is growing and developing more infrastructure.

+1, after reading some of the posts in this thread I was starting to think some must have read a different press release than I did.

Or it can be a reward for past work by a loyal employee while giving day to day control to someone more trusted. When egos are involved, especially in organizations that depend on volunteers to do legwork, it's expedient to promote someone out of a job where they've proved ineffective.

To Chairman of the Board? Not in most organizations. Chairman Emeritus maybe, but CoB is different. He's the top dog.

I think most here are familiar with the term **** up and move up. I see it more as a pat on the back and padding his wallet, probably with a big pay raise.

Are you aware that MPGV is a non-profit 501(c)4? Their "Education Fund" is a 501(c)3 non-profit.

Less than 4% of these organizations pay their board of directors anything. The expectation is that people volunteer on these boards to serve a "cause".

Until I see otherwise, Spinny Vinny appears to have lost a meager paycheck as President and will now receive NO paycheck as Chairman.

I hope one of our accounting wizards can weigh in on us.

Either way, his departure after the 2016 Clean Sweep that smothered ALL gun bills is a stinging personal--and very public--defeat for him.

Yeah and compare that photo to any of you and the other guys on the bricks grinning ear to ear.

    Speaks volumes.
