For those that brought up online reservations, bring this up with Matt when you are there. I'll be there Saturday but I'm pretty sure I'll forget. I've already brought up gun lockers but he said at least for now, that is an insurance issue for a small place like theirs. He does really like the idea and will look into it again later on.

I just got back from there about an hour ago. It's a nice place. The staff were friendly. They even moved me over to the other side of the range so it didn't seem crowded. There were three other lanes being used when I went and I was initially assigned to a lane in between two groups.

I really like this idea but I suspect (in this state) it could start to raise more problems than it solves. Suppose I put something in, then come back. Who's checking its the same person picking up and dropping off?

Suppose I don't have an HQL, but store my pre-2013 handgun, then go to pick it up. Do I need an HQL? Technically, the range has a key to open the locker, just in case. If this possession? Is a transfer required?

The mind boggles the ways one could get screwed on this in this state. But, perhaps I need to adjust my tinfoil.

Other places are willing to hold your stuff behind the counter under limited conditions in my experience: its not busy, you come in often enough that they know you, and it's only for a very short time.

It's a really good idea, but it seems like a lawyers dream, or nightmare, depending on the circumstances.

Wow, nice place. Maybe 30-40% crowded tonight. Targets were a buck each. Friendly staff as everyone notes. Ran into Brooklyn on the way in (he was on the way out). I'll be back. Didn't expect I'd like indoor shooting so much, but targets that reel in and out are quite nice. :D

I'm going to head up one day after work this week and shoot for an hour.

I know its been discussed, but i honestly dont want to scroll through the entire thread. Is Wolf and Tula ammo good to go?

It is just steel core that is prohibited.
    Steel cased is fine.

I went to TMGN today for the first time.
I am so glad I got a membership.

Let me just say I was very pleased with my experience. Overall there was not one negative thing I can report on...

The website made it very clear what to do on your first visit.
They tried to keep rifle shooters on one side and pistol shooters on another.
If there were free stalls they spread the people out so you were not crowded.
    They had great range supervision.
    Very professional.
I met and spoke with Matt, the owner. VERY NICE guy.
I have now met and spoken with leadership at TMGN and another local new range and there is no comparison. TMGN so far has very much impressed me.

One thing that I was very glad to see was ... was a couple arrived that were VERY new to hand guns. Like we are talking FIRST TIME rookies.
They had a staff member go over everything with them. They put them on the end lanes so that they had space. The staff member constantly worked with the couple reassuring them and coaching them.

And I must say... While I did not rent any of the full auto I did hear quite a bit of full auto fire and I giggled like a little school girl inside each time I heard it.
I am sure I will be renting something from there in the near future.
