I see this as a wood stock vs. plastic stock kind of discussion: not a ban assault weapons attack of the 2A.

I'm not sure what 'fudd' means. Is it people over the age of 45? Is it people that come from sparsely populated areas, who are more interested in hunting weapons than military ones? Is it the affluent, who prize a $45,000 shotgun as one would a piece of art?

Would any of the people listed above be considered 'not welcome' on these forums, because they are gun owners but in a competing sect (http://www.orange-papers.org/orange-cult_q0.html #5, #6, #9, #10, #11)?

Please let me who who is welcome at MD Shooters. I own a tactical shotgun, but I also enjoyed skeet shooting and hunting. Should I search out other sites for my other gun interests?

    I love this report......

I love a good tactical shotgun, my old police trade in 500 which shoots fine but kicks like a mule backed up by my 930SPX semi.

Been thinking about expanding the "herd" with the new 590A1 SPX if I can find one, not sure what I would use the bayo for but I like the front site configuration.

Of course the plain 590A1 would be fine as well (still kicking myself for passing up a 6 shot gun several years ago for $211).

LOL, am I supposed to fill this out? I'm glad folks here have a great sense of humor and are not afraid to joke with or tease people who are new to this forum.

Since I am new, I'm not entirely immersed in this forum's culture, so forgive me if I ask a lot of questions. I'm trying to figure why our country is having difficult supporting or advocating 2A rights. By participating in these forums, I'm getting a better idea as to why.

Moderators, like gun owners, need to examine their own behavior. An armed society should be a polite society. A responsible gun owner, is one that doesn't jump to conclusions and pull the trigger prematurely.

Please take this opportunity to re-read my posts and your responses.

There are no hurt feelings here, but there is concern for fellow 2A advocates and if their behavior is helping the cause. The public does read these forums and there are many lurkers that ask themselves: can people with guns be trusted to act responsibly. They will base this decision on the levels of civility demonstrated by all.

    Dundalk, Hon!
Every social movement... that tries to break the bonds of mindless convention and tradition and that defies established privilege gets accused of being rude and worse, much worse, and there are always weak apologists for the status quo who use that pathetic etiquette excuse to try and silence the revolutionaries. Successful revolutionaries ignore the admonitions about which fork to use for their salad because they care only to grab the steak knife as they launch themselves over the table. ~ Richard Dawkins

MikeTF, both you and wyomingboy are the kind of nattering nannies that would have us all being quiet, polite and playing nice together while our freedoms, liberties and rights are raped and destroyed. F*** that. I think you're both anti-gun trolls. Smart trolls, disciplined and clever trolls, but trolls nonetheless. Maybe snakes is a better term.

Subversion, diversion, sowing discontent and division is an old tactic of the minions of those who seek to impose their own vision of Utopia, with themselves in charge, of course.

    Avaunt, serpents!

Ok, everyone seems to have had their say. Can we stop now? I hate drama, and it is making me want to smoke.

It's making me want to drink....not that I really need an excuse.
