....unless you are registered to vote! OMG, the recent email from MSI said 40% of the people contacting one of the representatives by email were not even registered to vote! We cant vote the bums out if you are not registered! If you are not registered and are eligible, then go here:

    https://voterservices.elections.state.md.us/OnlineVoterRegistration.

Do it NOW! It is VERY easy and only takes a few minutes of your time.

MSI also talked extensively about the consequences of a referendum. I completely agree with them. Dont do it! We will lose and it will make things much worse for us. We dont get to pick the wording on the referendum. Just look at the last election and the wording for the gerrymandering item. The wording was something to the effect of "do you want to vote against the constitution", really? I guarantee you that if this is ends up in a referendum vote the wording will be something like "would you like to risk the safety of your children, and kill babies, by repealing SB281".

Get registered to vote and ask your friends if they are registered.

    Just my 2 cents.

Don't just register, but register Democrat so you can vote in the primaries. It's the best chance we have to flex our political muscle and get a few of those that voted for SB281, voted out since the general elections in this state are generally so lopsided.

Welcome to the board, the discussion about voter registration has been going on since late January/early February.

In WV, if one registers as an Independent, one can actually choose which party they want to vote for when they go to the Primary and General Elections. So, one would just say, "I want vote as a Democrat." Or, I want to vote as a Republication. No advance notice is needed.

I really like this method. MD should adopt a similiar procedure. I guess they don't have it because it's just too easy.

I registered to vote online and it is very easy and fast. If ALL who disagree with the progressive liberal agenda here in MD register and vote this time it WILL make a difference. The root cause of our problems are not merely the unconstitutional laws that are passed, but rather the detached and apathetic individuals who vote them into law. If they can vote bad law into the books then we can vote bad representatives out of a job!
