    1. The USD is now .9 Euro and climbing while the euro has negative outlook
    2. Slovenia is dirt poor
    3. Cost of (Superior) alternatives
The importer is horrible at negotiations

    250.

While your points may be correct, they are going to sell them for what they think they can get for them in today's market.

I'm sure they will sell every last one of them with no problem, in short order, at 429.

Therefore, 250 is a silly expectation. So would 300 be IMO

I don't remember what I paid for my unissued in 2003. I think maybe 100 or so....

Close, I remember them at $150. At the time I had a Chicom Police & a Russian SKS, thought it was enough.

I thought all of them were banned from import by now. I heard in Canada, they can get Russian, and Chinese sks`s for under $200. I wonder if we could simply purchase them from Canada. I know, wishful thinking on my part, I am sure there is some form of effed-up law barring this from occuring. Thank you for the info.

Yep, Canadians can get Russian SKSs and SVTs for a fraction of what we pay.

I've heard that some people have tried to get ones in through Canada, but it wasn't worth the trouble, or wasn't possible. I forget.
