Do you guys eat yellow perch or just C/R? White perch IMHO is the best tasting fish in the bay, but I have never had yellow perch. I know they really aren't related, with WP being a cousin to striped bass but I was just wondering.
Got some wax worms and heading to liberty tomorrow.
jk..i put a smiley in it didn't i.3,100 acres is considered high fence? Never thought about that before.

I have no proof but it always seemed they headed for the flats first. always heard the best catch on the flats before anywhere else. I figured the water warmed faster up there with the shallows.
Got some wax worms and heading to liberty tomorrow. Should I just put them on a jig head or use hooks? I haven't caught a perch over 10" in a long time, caught a lot of little ones early in the season last year.
It was really windy on Sat, walked around the reservoir for a while tried to make some holes! Fished a farm pond, really windy. It is the time to dig worms, I have been getting them so big they are too big to use this early. I have been putting them in the bottom of my beer fridge. Come hot and dry months there none to be found.
I might break down and buy a bit for next year. I have the hand drill.
