As above, I know a few companies make 'em. I want a factory 9mm sbr for obvious reasons (oct 1st etc, etc).

Would prefer a very short barrely (7.5 inch), but my real focus is that it is an actual SBR.

Let me know if anyone has them/can order them.

    Thanks

If you get a 5.56 Factory SBR a CMMG Upper and 9mm Adaptor Block will allow you a little more versatility with that SBR Firearm.

    A 9mm Lower is 9mm forever though.

I have a DDLES 9mm SBR with 7" barrel and side charging upper. I made it on a form 1. It's not a factory unit but mine is engraved on the bottom of the trigger guard and is barely noticeable.

I love my DDLES. Had it factory engraved with my trust name.

Do you have the Colt or Glock magwell? Mine is Colt.
Are you running a ramp bolt? Mine is not ramped, and I keep breaking bolt
catches. Not sure it f it's the bolt or hammer causing it.

I worked fine till that wangsmith polished it all up.

. Next time I'm going to someone who knows what they are doing.

I have learned that you can't trust a gunsmith that says "If you polish my bolt, I'll polish yours".

I have the Colt, and run a CMMG ramped bolt. I have less than 1000 rounds through it, but no problems so far.

    I want a dedicated 9mm...and a seperate 5.56 SBR AR. :-)

If I can't find one locally (which I would rather do), I'll likely be getting something like this:

    http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_7_118/1167828_New_9mm_DDLES_SBR_with_Custom_Vltor_VIS_Upper.html

Seriously though, if any of you guys who bought 9mm SBR AR's outright, and not built one, and can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

mine has a RRA 9 mm upper. I have a 5" TROS 3 lug barrel under a 9" Seekins BAR. The can is a Gemtech Multimount. Can't wait to get the paperwork so I can put a stock on it....

thanks Chad, I'll see about giving them a call now

As an aside, I think I found a source of a nice colt 5.56 SBR...so that end of this thing is covered.

Good for you. The Colt factory SBRs are not all that easy to find.

Based on the likelihood of me finding one SBR noveske, let alone two....I don't think we'll be running into that problem lol

I agree with Chad. Thats why I purchased a YHM 5.5" 9mm Factory SBR. It uses a standard lower and a Hahn Precision bottom loading magblock. I also have other SBR uppers (10.5" 5.56, 4.5" 22lr) that I run on this one lower until my Form1 for another lower is approved. It takes about 30 seconds to switch from a 9mm to 5.56 or 22lr. Its an extremely reliable and versatile setup. I highly recommend it.

BTW, I purchased the YHM 9mm Factory SBR from 2A Sales.

Well, I stopped by 2A sales today. They had a fair amount of AR's and a few Sig pistols that looked nice (I still like the 238, maybe I'll pick one up later in the year). They didn't have any complete rifles in a 9mm SBR configuration. I gave them my name and phone number, and was advised they would call me should something come in.

I'm going to call engage tomorrow to see if they have anything in stock.

    Thanks for the ideas fellas.
