If you're open to something a little different, check out S&W's cancelled line-up of 422 / 622, 2206, and 2214 / 2213 pistols. I absolutely love mine - much preferred over any other .22 semis I've owned or fired (Ruger 22/45 & MK II, Sig Mosquito, Walther P22, Buckmark, etc.). Lightweight, high quality, different/interesting, and the barrel is beneath the slide - I.E. you can ad a suppressor to the threaded barrel and still use the factory sights. S&W cancelled them in '99, some say because production costs were too high. They seem to hit GB in waves.
