Triple B, what is that nub on top of the handguard for?

As mentioned...it is a QD socket rail attachment point made by Fortis Manufacturing. Here's a top view of it on the same upper:

Nice man. Good picture. I love those IKH slap plates. I use them to run two point slings like a single point sling. Not to mention, how can you not support a company named I kick hippies.

By the way, I don't know if you want a good mount for the Leepers but I have an Aimpoint mount with the riser I'm not using anymore. I just replaced it with a ADM mount. You can have it on the cheap if you want it.

So after the second presidential debate and before Sandy Hook, I decided to buy an extra lower. I wasn't going to build it until later next year. Then I decided to try to build a cheap-ish gun during the Gun Rush just to see if I could. Problem is, I don't like KISS rifles so although I managed to find everything I needed at their normal prices, this gun is still becoming expensive fast. Such is life...


Parts I still need:

• Geissele Super Gas Block (Shipped from Midway on Friday)
• Geissele SSA-E
• Troy BUIS Front and Rear
• Aimpoint T1 in Larue Mount
• DBAL I2
• BCM Gunfighter Comp

Nice choice on the Geissele rail. Def worth the cost.
