whats with the electrical tape and paracord on the bottom of the mag?
OMG I LOVE your Dragunov!!
My SLR-101s. I added a Kalinka PK-01V side mount and Vortex Strikefire. May try to get a wood furniture set, haven't decided yet. Might even get around to shooting it one day.
wish I could find one of these...or any arsenal right now at a semi non retarded price
I literally bought this the weekend before the SHTF. I was picking up my 6940 and decided I should get an AK for the collection.
even though it's not a Dragunov?
I'm certainly no expert but it looks like a Dragunov to me. And the manual says "Dragunov" on it, so I don't think I'm too far off

NICE WEAPONS FELLAS but isnt it better to use if there is a front grip??
just a curious female
These are Soviet era rifles, and many like to keep the cold war look to them. ARs are generally more adaptable to different styles, configurations and accessories. They do build modern AKs that have front handguards with front rails, and grips. The AMD65 is the only AK I am aware of that came as is with a front grip. I think some Romanians had a wooden handgrip built in with the handguard as well. But not forward grip is the "classic" look of the AK.
Project gun.
I think you're missing a piece.
