Holy revival Batman! I told you I was just jealous. I went and bought 2 super expensive knives. A Benchmade 940-1 and a ZT 0770cf in m390. The ZT arrived today, and I now know why you guys spend so much on these things. It's crazy sharp, and oozes quality.

Talk to me about the liner lock and assisted-opening features. Since you also have my favorite EDC 940, I'm seriously curious about your thoughts comparing the two.

The lock seems to be very solid. I feel confident that it won't fail, but I'm not going to try and test it for arguments sake. I would love to have the frame lock security, but, I personally don't like the looks of a 2 material handle. I was a little worried that the blade could sling open in my pocket, but, it takes way more force to open it, than can be accidentally exerted. Once pushed, though, it flings open with authority. As for the 940-1, that should arrive tomorrow.
