My deed says my property extends to the centerline of the state highway in front of my house. That adds more than a thousand square feet to my property that I am taxed on as if I can use it as private land. Every few years they widen the road and decrease what I have personal access to.
Send a bill to the County for their pro-rata share of the taxes due. Ha ha ha. I’d love to see the look on their faces.

You aren’t even required to show your stamp to anyone but ATF. That’s BS
No, you aren't. As the form is a tax record, technically.

In this case, however, the form was in possession of the department (taken by the arresting officer when the gun bag it was in got seized). And then he lied. He probably didn't know what a form four was but that doesn't change anything. He had possession at the time of the arrest. No badge for you, bitch.

If more people took this type of approach to dealing with jackbooted brownshirts, things might change. Go after their credentials, not just department money.

Agree. They don’t need our input. Make it as ugly and egregious as possible. Anything else helps them. No opposition testimony at all.
In fact, we should be testifying in support the bill, so we get to go first along with the Mommies Needing Attention. Of course, our testimony will be we support the bill specifically so that it will get an epic SCOTUS smackdown and end passage of these types of bills once and for all. I seem to recall someone else with the initials SG who already did something similar a few years back..... I'm tired of having to wait until 9:30PM to testify against infringing bills because the supporters flood the committee hearings with bussed-in astroturfers.

If we go first, does that mean we can give the demanding mommies some action after testimony? I mean, if they are mommies, you at least know they put out sometimes......and teratos can even pick first.

Exactly. D-bag's view taxpayer money as unlimited. Thus they do not care how much it costs to defend unconstitutional infringements. The goal is to force 2A advocacy groups to spend $millions fighting them across as many jurisdictions as possible. When they lose at the circuit level, they will stop. The last thing they want is a their infringement overturned at SCOTUS because that would stop, temporarily, the similar infringements.
Ultimately, they believe that an eventual communist majority on SCOTUS will void the 2A. Their utopia is where only criminals and gov't have guns, thus obliterating the line between law and outlaw.
One of these days in the future, we will toss all communist majority into the Atlantic ocean.

A two at ten is a ten at two.

Besides, I travel prepared. Two paper bags (one for her, the other for me in case hers falls off). If that doesn't work, unfold the flag and do it for Old Glory!

Lmao. I admire the can do attitude!

BLM shut down annapolis AND was given a police escort to walk the streets, all without needing to worry about those pesky pemits. There's no reason why thousands of md gun owners shouldn't completely engulf annapolis and make them aware of our feelings on the matter. It doesn't matter how restrictive they have made the process of testifying, we stay into the early morning and force them to be aware of us.
Yes, they need to be made aware of our T H O U G H T S on the matter.

Technically, there is a forth way that roads can be created. It's called a prescriptive easement. These are common in rural areas where the road right of ways are created by continued usage. Again, the adjoining property owner owns the land typical out to centerline of the road. My whole point of this is that just saying "public road" doesn't necessarily mean anything and just adds to the intended confusion.
I don’t even know what the private road in my neighborhood would be considered (I am off a county road in the neighborhood). My understanding is the owners of one of the original farms has title to it and the 40 or so houses off that road simply have access via the road. The former owner of the farm starting in the 1970s had been subdividing and selling to developers, but maintained title to the road/land the road is on itself. I assume there is a deeded easement to the property owners living off that private road.

Bars didn't want me there at 4am. So I never got a chance to test your theory. Haha.

I may or may not have left a body shaped hole in a door or three at some point when I exited the premises in the morning. These days I stay away from bars.

Looks like they are trying to make it like NYC. Senate Bill 1 which prohibits a person from knowingly wearing, carrying or transporting a firearm within 100 feet near a place of public accommodation. Such places would include a hotel, movie theater or retail stores.
