If you get a speeding ticket in Maryland, you can hire a lawyer and not show up to the court.When someone sues the State in cases such as SB1, does Moore have to show up in court? I'm wondering because IMHO, if you signed the law and you get sued over the law, you (Moore in this case) should be required to show up in court with your attorney (State AG in this case). Not sure if it would work, but I feel, at least sensible Governors, wouldn't sign things into law, if they feel they have to defend it with their own time.
