Keltec production runs are famously low. outside of the pistols, you rarely see their stuff. Rumors were that they have a small plant and have to rotate which guns they make at a given time, or like someone else said, they do other things more than guns.

But basically if it's not a PF-9 or the KSG, you might have a hell of a time finding one and they have never indicated that they would expand or increase production.

Apparently they do not expand unless they can pay for the project in cash. I read somewhere that they are going to break ground on a new structure soon. Who really knows, seems like they are not really interested in making money at this point...at least on their rifles.

In my opinion, they need to put the sub 2000 in the principals office at schools. Fold it up and put it in a kind of emergency safe or circular tube with a simplex lock. Ammo in a different, but nearby location, also under a simplex lock.

They're hit or miss. We've had 3 9mm glock ones come through in the six months I've been here (the last of which was on Black Friday). It's really all just when Kel tec wants to make them.
Got mine at Engage last summer. Makes the perfect accessory to my 3 Glock 9mm's and numerous 17-33 round mags. Many IP's post them when they have them. I called and gave my credit card over the phone. Awesome guys at Engage.

I remember that day! It was supposed to be the first day of my vacation. It also happened after my Cabela's run. :D

Hahaha hahaha! Your prognostication on pricing/availability always cracks me up.

It's more likely that new machine guns will be legal before Keltec increases production.

Yes and no. Keltec has caught up and leveled out on KSG's. But their production cycles seem sporatic and they don't seem to have a huge incentive to build more.

Im a fan but their stuff has commanded a premium for years.

I saw one on the wall at Atlantic Guns in Rockville today. Don't know the price. Id get a Beretta CX4 Storm if I was going to get a PCC.

But, for a all intensive purposes, id rather have a .22 LR and if I want more power, go with .223 or 7.62x39. Handgun rounds unless its like .357 Mag or .44 Mag don't really gain much out of a rifle. But, its a niche weapon. And it shares common ammo and magazines with a handgun. I don't own handguns, just long guns, so it would be an extra caliber and magazines for me. Although, I have looked at Keltec's SU-16 series in .223. They fold up like the sub-2K I think. Ive heard good things about them and they can take AR-15 magazines.

They are out there, but you must be willingly to make a daily effort.

Or........... Just get damn lucky like I did. Glock 17 version. Goes really well with my..... Glock 17. Great system gun to run with your handgun, whatever the make or caliber. Nothing better than having the same mags for both guns; one for long distance relationships, and one for up close and personal work.

Keep your eyes open. One will come. Maybe even tomorrow or 2020.
