I think that's even questionable, because the Cherokee Nation keeps track of those things and apparently they've never heard of her before she decided to make that little detail public. It is absolutely disgusting that Obama would play the race card (he's done several times) when he is a mixed ethnicity.

People really need to stop using race in all conversations, especially our government, including census.

I should have put the sarcasm behind it because that's the way it was meant. If you were born here then you are an American. I'm sick and tired of people trying to continually divide this country based on someone's skin color. If you dig deep enough into your ancestry I'm sure most people would be shocked of what is actually in their bloodline. We need to unite on issues as Americans, not based on what we look like on the outside. There needs to be a stop on putting a spin on issues based on a so-called government classified race.

My family left England and arrived at New Castle in what we now call Delaware in The United States in about 1630.

I need help, how long does One's Family have to be in a given area to be considered "Native"?
