Just heard from Joe about "Moose" crossing over to the other side!
Hope it was a quick passage. Have had a couple of health events last few months,so unable to attend the Hooligan Sunday shoots.
We will miss his laughs, the loud short sleeve shirts, it would be -20 deg. F. and he is shooting with no jacket on!
A super guy! Think he was 48 !
    Take care ,my friend.

Omg, terrible. Prayers to the family. Read so many hooligan threads I feel like I half know the guy and was looking forward to possibly meeting him next month. I will wear a Hawaiian shirt to Easter service tomorrow in his honor!

I am VERY sorry to hear this. Brian won my "Young Frankenstein" DVD karma back in October; I hope it brought some laughter into his life.

    RIP, Brian.

And deepest condolences to his friends, wife, and family.

Condolences to his family and the Hooligans. He was a staple around here with his monthly dog avatars, and one of our more level headed posters. He will be missed.

    My goodness!!!

He was such a great guy and an integral part of this community.

Wow! Just reminds us that the call can come at anytime. :(

He will be missed. Please pass my prayers on to his family and loved ones.

So glad we met him last year at the hooligan -cc meetup.

Of course he had his Hawaiian shirt on while the rest of us were all bundled up in the crisp morning air at the Savage River range.

I'm a at a loss for words. Although I've been here a relatively short time, I've enjoyed his posts along with the other hooligans. My deepest condolences to his family and his friends, particularly his friends here. He will be sorely missed. My prayers are with everyone he touched.

I'm shocked and saddened at his passing. As others have mentioned, Moose was one of the people I most wanted to meet. His sense of humor was outstanding and he appeared to be a true friend to many. May he rest in peace with the Lord and may He bring peace to his family and our community.

    Mooseman's Last Hooligan Shoot

Like Buff7mm, Mooseman was a very close and dear friend of mine. I haven't yet grasped the concept that Buck will never again bring Hooli to a Hooligan shoot. It just can't be.

The last time we got together was two weeks ago. Buck seemed his usual self. But it was a cold early morning. He put on a jacket which is unusual for him. We talked about how he'd had some back pain recently and how he was feeling in general. We all encouraged him to get in to see his doc for a checkup. Now two weeks later...he's gone.

Again, I'm in total denial right now, so please bear with me. Anyway, these pics were taken at the last Hooligan Shoot on March 22, 2015. He's shooting firearms which is something I know he loved. I can't believe I will never again enjoy a range trip with my good friend.

Mooseman, you will be truly be missed! :sad20::sad20::sad20::sad20:
