Banned? Maybe. If you can find an FFL that has the MSP bulletin stating if it is importable, it's nonregulated, and therefore not banned.

I wouldn't do it if I were the FFL, but there is direct guidance on the issue.

If you are looking for something to shoot your 5.45 with, look for a VZ-52, they are C&R and do not fail the copy cat test.

Can you point me in the direction of one that shoots 5.45? I cam only find ones that shoot 7.62 and 5.56
