Mountain State Supply has some good deals on repro slings. For example, they had (now sold out) grade b 1907 repro slings for $9 (steel or brass hardware). They still have other decent deals if you are looking for a sling to put on your shooter. Free shipping right now (and quick... I ordered this morning and it shipped a few hours later).

Empire arms just sent out their list. They have several British enfields listed starting at $325. I'm hoping by giving a heads up here I'm not breaking any rules.

    heh, heh, me too.

seriously Mawkie is the Auction Whisperer and ferrets stuff out all over.
That's what persistence, patience, and knowledge does for yah.

Live auctions are always a big gamble, no returns and you better be sure what you're doing, and also be sure to set a hard limit on your bids.

For me it would be a trap cause I don't have the knowledge Mawkie has to know what is good and what is not.

Good deal but Lou has them for I think $390 which is not too much more after shipping, HP fee and transfer fee and you can HP the exact one you want.

Roger that. I sorta posted this for our unencumbered Virginia friends and other folks that live in America's free states. ;)

    Danish stuff:
Anywhere does it say it's Garand Safe?

Working on my CMP eligibility :D Just joined a CMP affiliated club, now I need the marksmanship requirement. Was looking for some deals to hold me over though.

I found some old forum topics on other sites about the Danish surplus. Sounds like it was manufactured for piles of M1's that they received right after WWII, so should be safe. One source said some of the lots were produced with M80 NATO bullets, not M2 spec flat bottom bullets, but I don't think that would be a cause for concern.
