Well, my HQL went active on April 12th, after starting the process on March 25th. Based on what I read here, the wait was dead nuts on what I was expecting, about 18 days.

What's was weird was, of the dozen or so areas where they checked you out, the first two were shown as "complete" in the first two days, nothing moved at all (no further updated), and then bam! It went active.

Again, based on what I've read here, I would expect to see my card in about a week.

Ditto. I submitted on 3/27 and went active today 4/14. I got home just now and logged in to look. Just yesterday it was Completed for HQL application and DMHS check. All others were "unchecked". Then today -- BAM!

    Now waiting on the card.

I filled out my HQL application Monday. I filled out my login information a while ago, maybe a year or sof but I finally just got my fingerprints done and finished the app. We'll see how long it takes.

Just got my card today. Took about a month. The card itself looks like a child made it in MS Paint.

    Now to find a P239.

I submitted mine on 4/12 so im expecting not to see approval till the first week of May and the card by the second. No other updates have been made since 4/13 for the same check everyone else is saying.. I guess I will stop punishing myself and checking my status till 5/4 - 5/6

That might be the problem. My finger print people told me I had 72 hours to submit application from when they printed me.

Not knowing that there's supposedly a time limit, I had my prints done in October and didn't take my HQL class and submit my application until late February. To my surprise, everything worked and I had my card within ~3.5 weeks.

The 72 hour tome limit on prints is not a requirement for the HQL. The requirement is for CCW permits.

In that case, the 72-hour validity for HQL fingerprints is a widely circulated, widely believed myth!

Like I said it was told to me by the people performing my finger print. If that info is wrong I will hold my breath for MSP to provide clarification to those places.

If these "experts" bothered to read the MSP web site they'd know the 72 hour rule does not apply to the HQL. How much clarification is needed?

    You can't fix lazy.

I submitted mine within 72 because a county cop at office told me I had to. Maybe they wrong. Didn't care enough to read on site. If your not ready to submit than no reason to get printed.
