What's your primary purpose for the <$1k 9mm?
( ie Home Defense (HD), CCW, range toy, competition, duty, collecting)

Will anyone else use this gun frequently, are they a lefty?

What other pistols do you already own?

I wouldn't buy a 1911 until you have a DA/SA 9mm first; considering you put capacity in your top 3 priorities.

Ignoring my questions; I'd blindly say... VP9 for you. P07 or P01, then G19 all very close, and in that order.

I already went ahead and bought the Sig Nightmare 1911. And the CZ 75-B Omega. I"ll probably add a glock or some other polymer pc soon. I've had decades of shooting being mostly 9mm and .40cal.

I'm very used to a safety my only problem is I'm right handed and left eyed dominant (I think it actually changed due to different strength contacts I'm guessing in each eye)

Edit: This forum was nice and helpful for HQL info as well as general gun info and I'm actually looking into the reloading posts now so I actually looked for an IP again (9mm polymer compact maybe) to buy from. And I'll buy from and IP again when I can (60 days or sooner if I get my collector approved)
