I just had to show this off.
This is a 10 shot group fired from sandbag out of one of my older builds consisting of a stripped lower and a for the most part complete JSE nitrided m4 profile upper.
I always got decent accuracy out of her, but I recently put a piece of gorilla tape on each side of the upper to take up the slack when the upper and lower are mated together.
This was shot with Wolf Gold brass ammo
I put the target out at 100 just to make sure it wasn't a fluke and got similar performance. I honestly can't believe how good this rifle is shooting since the mod with cheap factory ammo.
It beat the HBAR chrome lined barrel I brought out all to crap accuracy wise.
Mainly I wanted to post this thread to show that number one, JSE sells some decent stuff, and number two as I have been saying for a long time now Nitrided barrels are the way to go- I'm coming up on something like 1500 rounds through that JSE upper and the bore looks as bright and sharp as the day I bought it, with minute tool marks in the Leade still visible.
I'm just so damned excited!!!
Anyone else who wants to show off, post your goups!
