    Welcome from another new guy!
    Great grandparents were from London.

As to great air shows, the one at Reading,
Pennsylvania every year around the D-Day
anniversary is superb in every way. Often
has the only flying Lancaster, a Spitfire
or two, tons of US flying metal like B-17's,
more P-51's than I can count and still think
rationally, C-47's including one or two every year that dropped paratroopers on the real
D-Day, and a great Militaria flea market.

    See this: http://www.readingairport.org/info/maam.html

Also, Google the Great War Association
website for Great War reenactors...units representing all sides and we have quite a few guys come over from the UK and ANZAC countries to participate...oh, those kilts and pipes are so cool...my unit. The 107th Inf. Served with the BEF rather than with the AEF, so we use SMLE's...great
trenches and No Man's Mand, and we often have several period military aircraft playing along. It is in Newville, Pennsylvania.
In fact, I commend the GWA to all our forum members. It is a great organization with a great membership, lots of recent vets
participate, and we get to run around a lot
with and see some incredible period original hardware.

    Again, welcome!!!
