    Filled out the paperwork.

    As I was leaving, the guy behind the counter said, "I'll let you know when your papers come back. It should be sometime, around Presidents' Day, hopefully!"

    I turned and looked at him, like..... :shocked3: and he busted out laughing!!!!

    And the clock is running.....

    I have a customer that ordered a 6920MOE black from this company. He no longer wants it. $1130 cash out the door.

    Mine (MOE Black) showed up at Mid-County the end of last week along with a Springfield 1911 ordered from the same place.

    Great service, and super quick FREE shipping. Good stuff.

    Yeah, right when I felt the need to pick one up on Gunbroker *gulp*

    I now know definitively I should never try my hand at the stock market... poor timing

    Should I be concerned about the "restricted"? I don't see anything about "not for civilian sale". Their already moving in my direction so canceling isn't an option.

    Got a call from the FFL, regarding my LE6920MP-B.
    "Come and get it. And do me a favor. Tell your daughter's boyfriend to come and get his LE6920, too!"

    Looks like the start of a GREAT weekend!!!!!!:thumbsup::party29::thumbsup:

    Lot's of grinning around your place, I'm sure! :thumbsup: I can't believe these are still in stock, even with the $50 increase in price. Looks like demand dried up quite a bit. Too bad ammo prices aren't taking a nosedive like this.

    Quick update on the LE6920MP-B:

    My youngest son and I spent a couple of hours at the farm, yesterday.

    We took the M1A and the 6920.

    Getting the 6920 on paper was a breeze at 25 yards.
    Using the iron sights to check/get zero, I then dialed the Aimpoint Pro to sit on top of the front sight, then had to dial it down just a click or two.

    I LIKE this set-up!!!!!

    Moving back to 100 yards, using the red dot and co-witnessing with iron sights, this little rifle SHOOTS!!!!
    My son and I both got some 3-shot, one (ragged) hole groups (cloverleafs), using my 69 gr BTHP Sierra MatchKing loads!!!! (Using the Uncle Bud's "Bulls Bag".)

    The trigger does have a 'gritty' feel to it, especially compared to my beloved M1A.

    In a couple of weeks, we're going to go back and try out these rifles at 300 to 350 yards, to see what they'll do.

    Now...... I just have to get used to shoot using a red dot.

    joppaj - THANKS for 'pushing' me toward the 6920 with the Magpul furniture!

    :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Glad you enjoyed it. Since I'm putting a PRO on a 6920 Magpul, you can help me get mine sighted in once things calm down.

    Or go right to an ALG or Geissele and get there quicker (and probably for less money). :D

    Thanks, guys!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    I'll probably just do the polishing compound on the hammer/sear.
    I've got several projects 'going', so this isn't a dire necessity, right now. (My wife says painting the front door trim and porch spindles are.)
    :)
