Cannot load a full mag in Mini-14 with bolt closed?

Springs in magazines are not broken in. Run a few mags worth through and it should fix the problem.

I bought some Promag mags for my mini-14 when I first got it. They were cheap. They turned my Mini into a jam-o-matic and the feed lips broke.

basically this. never seen one run right in my Mini-14. factory magazines have all been flawless.

now all you have to do is get here melonite or black nitride treated and you're good to go!

For the life of me I don't know why they don't offer it as a barrel option, or just whole rifle finish option for that matter. they contract with a company to treat the SR series pistols, so they have a provider, it just seems like corner cutting to offer a rifle whose barrel will be shot out in half as long as it would otherwise, is rust prone if not oiled well, and could be made infinitely easier to clean
