Ok, got my application back. Seems I did check that I had my fill before, but, I did not include the separate sheet explaining that. Well, I need to attach and send back. So the turnaround response wasn't to bad, just my fault.

I've mulled getting a new one but ultimately decided to stay unlicensed-- I let mine expire in 2014 as I really didn't want/need it any more. My purchases are few these days and I have an FFL01 friend that is more than happy to do transfers should the need arise.

7 days from time I sent in application to $30.00 removed from bank account. Now checking the mail box every hour for brand new FFL03 license :D

A total of 41 days it took (I took 1 day off for the 4th of July). But it is in my hand and can now have vintage firearms shipped directly to my home. Yep ready to buy and a big grin on me face :) Now I just need the welcome packet so I don't do anything dumb. Oh and I did get my bound book back on day 2 of the wait. America is still alive...
