Well, if you look at the LWRC piston system, it's nearly identical to the SVT-38/40, at least in how the actual piston and operating rod function. So... even Colt was late to that game.

I agree with Chad, LWRC is the only piston gun worth getting, and even then a DI rifle is better anyways.
