Ak build party?

Many milled kits come with the "stub" attached to the barrel. This can be use as the "trunnion" if you want to use a stamp receiver on a milled kit. Coldsteel Solutions have some 80% stamp receivers you can adapt to milled kits. They do require some fittings, cuts, and welds.

I was talking about adapting a Polish under folding stock to my plain stamped receivers.

I believe all you'll need is a Polish underfolder rear trunnion and the rivets for it. Also they make a plate that welds into the receiver to reinforce the pistol grip on the underfolder.

Hope I can make it by then, was looking towards maybe mid september. What degree of assembly are you doing, assembled barrels in trunion? from total parts? I might have to turn my friend on to this, he already has all his stuff, and enough kits to walk out with 4 to 6 AK's of various styles!

I can't speak for everyone else, but I'm starting with an 80% and a virgin barrel. I hope to get it completely built at the party, but I'll be content if I at least get the trunnions in and the barrel headspaced.

I don't have a problem with anything AK/AR project related. There will be plenty of tools and people and space to work on toys and even a test range.

From what I've read, it's on August 24th in Dentsville, but I have seen no more specific info than that.
