80%AR lowersbeing built by Essex company

There is an auction on Gunbroker 35401968 from Ace machine in Essex for 80% AR lowers and machining jigs. These look to be well finished CNC machined billet lowers with nice details.

Does anyone have any info on either product or company. Only negative is that they want $15.00 to ship by USPS

They are well-made partials, I have seen them.

Oh and I think they are shipping UPS, not USPS, that's why the cost to ship.. UPS is getting pricey lately.. lol

I called over there today and he said you can just drop by and pick one up at the shop for $120. I'm currently looking for a reason not to lol.

looks like I will be making a trip over there on friday to hand them 120, how much was he asking for the jig? I wish I would have found this before the PSA kit.

I will keep this in mind. $120 is steep, but that is a sharp looking lower.

Yes he had jigs for $100. I didn't grab one since I bought someone else's off GB hopefully it will work with it. He also has a limited number of .308 AR 80% he will be selling in about 2-3 weeks I am not sure on price but I imagine it will be more. I am grabbing one of them too.

Looks real nice. Do you have any suggestions of where to get it anodized it or cerakoted?

There are a few places around that do cerakote, one up near York Pa and one in Taneytown, I believe, have to check... probably some members here or IPs too...

If the FCG pin holes are marked, it's a firearm. I'll bet they don't have a determination letter either...
